LaBouche : In Memory

I used to hate La bouche with a passion when I was younger. It was so overplayed on regular radio and the fact that my ex-bf was totally obsessed with them.
Luckily I was able to look beyond that years later and truly appreciate what an incredible talent Melanie Thornton was. Sadly her voice was silenced in 2001 in a tragic airplane crash just as her first solo cd was hitting stores.

Her is the first of many tribute cds I'm working on :

Shannon : Let The Music Play!

One of my all time favorite artists. Very few dance artists musical catalog holds up over the span of time in my mind. Madonna, Dead Or Alive & Shannon are a few that do sound just as fresh to me as the day I first heard them on the radio. Shannon continues to record to this day but caters to the R&B crowd as seen on her 2007 release "A Beauty Returns". Her classic hits get the "remix" treatment every 5-10 years for the new kids in the clubs.

1. LET THE MUSIC PLAY (REMIX)
2. SWEET SOMEBODY
3. SOMEONE WAITING AT HOME
4. GIVE ME TONIGHT
5. MY HEART’S DIVIDED (REMIX)
6. IT’S YOU
7. ONE MAN
8. DO YOU WANNA GET AWAY (REMIX)
9. DOIN’ WHAT YOUR DOIN’
10. STOP THE NOISE
11. STRONGER TOGETHER
12. WHY CAN’T WE PRETEND
13. LET ME SEE YOUR BODY MOVE
14. BEDROOM EYES

Madonna : What If...........

People ask why I don't have any Madonna posted on my blog. Well to be honest there are a gazillion Madonna blogs that cover most bases. I started to think about what I would post if I did a Madonna section and this is what I came up with.

We all know Madonna's contract is up with Warner Brothers after Hard Candy is released in April. At that point I predict they will remaster her back catalog and expand them into deluxe editions...something a little like this :)

Let me know what you think !

(I'm working on some unique Madonna continuous mixes too..so keep an eye out for them coming up)
